Yes, yes, it has been ages. Why do you ask? I haven't had much to comment on lately. There is much working to be done, many missions to be written, and a game to ship eventually.
In the meantime, Chetty Monster was diagnosed with chronic renal failure last week after his regular yearly trip to the vet. The vet has high hopes that we found it early, so for the moment, Chet is only on a special diet. Which he loves. And that's a good thing because A) it's crazy expensive prescription food, and B)he'll be eating it for the rest of his life.
How long THAT is has yet to be determined. Right now he's on antibiotics for a few weeks, then I expect there will be more tests to see how fast the kidneys are shutting down. It's very possible that he may have a few more years left - and it's possible that it may be less than that. I'm hoping very strongly for a few more years. Ideally, about 35.
